They created a fake real estate office in Manhattan and secretly filled it with listings that were actually from Iowa, then waited to see how New Yorkers would react. It’s great to see how cost-effective Des Moines (and other Iowa Cities) is compared to NYC — even given modern amenities, new builds, short commutes, award-winning recreation, culture & more. And it is quite funny to see the reactions of real new yorkers.
